The Blog-in-Blog plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'blog_in_blog' shortcode in versions up to, and including, 2.0.0 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user supplied attributes. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers with editor-level and above permissions to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.Show less

The Blog-in-Blog plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Local File Inclusion in versions up to, and including, 2.0.0 via a shortcode attribute. This allows editor-level, and above, attackers to include and execute arbitrary files on the server, allowing the execution of any PHP code in those files. This can be used to bypass access controls, obtain sensitive data, or achieve code execution in cases where images and other “safe” file types can be uploaded and included.Show less
