A vulnerability in Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) and Cisco ISE Passive Identity Connector (ISE-PIC) could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to perform path traversal attacks on the underlying operating system to either read or delete arbitrary files. To exploit this vulnerability, the attacker must have valid administrative credentials.  This vulnerability is due to improper validation of user-supplied input. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted HTTP request to an affected system. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to access sensitive files or delete arbitrary files on the affected system.Show less

A vulnerability in Cisco ISE and ISE-PIC could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to view sensitive information on an affected device. This vulnerability is due to improper authorization checks when a resource is accessed. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending crafted traffic to an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to gain access to sensitive information, including hashed credentials that could be used in future attacks.Show less

A vulnerability in Cisco ISE and ISE-PIC could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to execute arbitrary commands on the underlying operating system of an affected device. To exploit this vulnerability, the attacker must have valid administrative credentials. This vulnerability is due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted HTTP request to an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to obtain user-level access to the underlying operating system and then elevate privileges to root. In single-node deployments, successful exploitation of this vulnerability could cause the affected ISE node to become unavailable, resulting in a denial of service (DoS) condition. In that condition, endpoints that have not already authenticated would be unable to access the network until the node is restored.Show less

A vulnerability in an identity management API endpoint of Cisco ISE could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to enumerate valid user accounts on an affected device. This vulnerability exists because error messages are observed when the affected API endpoint is called. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a series of crafted requests to the affected endpoint and analyzing the differentiated responses. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to compile a list of valid usernames on an affected system.Show less

A vulnerability in the RADIUS Policy API endpoints of Cisco ISE could allow an authenticated, remote attacker with read-only Administrator privileges to gain unauthorized access to sensitive information on an affected device. This vulnerability is due to improper role-based access control (RBAC) permissions on the RADIUS Policy API endpoints. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by bypassing the web-based management interface and directly calling an affected endpoint. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to gain unauthorized read access to sensitive RADIUS Policy details that are restricted for their role.Show less

Multiple vulnerabilities in the web-based management interface of Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) could allow an authenticated, remote attacker with administrative write privileges to conduct a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) attack or a reflected XSS attack against a user of the web-based management interface of an affected device. These vulnerabilities are due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data that is stored in the web page. An attacker could exploit these vulnerabilities by convincing a user of the interface to click a specific link or view an affected web page. The injected script code may be executed in the context of the web-based management interface or allow the attacker to access sensitive browser-based information.Show less

A vulnerability in the RADIUS setting Reject RADIUS requests from clients with repeated failures on Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause Cisco ISE to restart unexpectedly. This vulnerability is due to a logic error when processing a RADIUS access request for a MAC address that is already a rejected endpoint. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a specific sequence of multiple crafted RADIUS access request messages to Cisco ISE. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause a denial of service (DoS) condition when Cisco ISE restarts.Show less

A vulnerability in the web-based management interface of Cisco ISE could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to obtain sensitive information from an affected device. This vulnerability exists because certain files lack proper data protection mechanisms. An attacker with read-only Administrator privileges could exploit this vulnerability by performing actions where the results should only be viewable to a high-privileged user. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to view passwords that are normally not visible to read-only administrators.Show less

A vulnerability in the IP Access Restriction feature of Cisco ISE and Cisco ISE-PIC could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to bypass configured IP access restrictions and log in to the device from a disallowed IP address. This vulnerability is due to improper enforcement of access controls that are configured using the IP Access Restriction feature. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by logging in to the API from an unauthorized source IP address. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to gain access to the targeted device from an IP address that should have been restricted. To exploit this vulnerability, the attacker must have valid administrative credentials.Show less
