Squidex is an open source headless content management system and content management hub. Prior to version 7.23.0, the `RestoreController.PostRestoreJob` endpoint allows an administrator to supply an arbitrary URL for downloading backup archives. This URL is fetched using the "Backup" `HttpClient` without any SSRF protection. A malicious or compromised admin can use this endpoint to probe internal network services, access cloud metadata endpoints, or perform internal reconnaissance. The vulnerability is authenticated (Admin-only) but highly impactful, allowing potential access to sensitive internal resources. Version 7.23.0 contains a fix.Show less

An issue was discovered in guardsix (formerly Logpoint) ODBC Enrichment Plugins before 5.2.1 (5.2.1 is used in guardsix 7.9.0.0). A logic flaw allowed stored database credentials to be reused after modification of the target Host, IP address, or Port. When editing an existing Enrichment Source, previously stored credentials were retained even if the connection endpoint was changed. An authenticated Operator user could redirect the database connection to unintended internal systems, resulting in SSRF and potential misuse of valid stored credentials.Show less

Craft CMS is a content management system (CMS). In versions on the 4.x branch through 4.17.8 and the 5.x branch through 5.9.14, the `resource-js` endpoint in Craft CMS allows unauthenticated requests to proxy remote JavaScript resources. When `trustedHosts` is not explicitly restricted (default configuration), the application trusts the client-supplied Host header. This allows an attacker to control the derived `baseUrl`, which is used in prefix validation inside `actionResourceJs()`. By supplying a malicious Host header, the attacker can make the server issue arbitrary HTTP requests, leading to Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF). Versions 4.17.9 and 5.9.15 patch the issue.Show less

A server-side request forgery (SSRF) vulnerability was identified in GitHub Enterprise Server that allowed an attacker to extract sensitive environment variables from the instance through a timing side-channel attack against the notebook rendering service. When private mode was disabled, the notebook viewer followed HTTP redirects without revalidating the destination host, enabling an unauthenticated SSRF to internal services. By chaining this with regex filter queries against an internal API and measuring response time differences, an attacker could infer secret values character by character. Exploitation required that private mode be disabled and that the attacker be able to chain the instance's open redirect endpoint through an external redirect to reach internal services. This vulnerability affected all versions of GitHub Enterprise Server prior to 3.21 and was fixed in versions 3.14.26, 3.15.21, 3.16.17, 3.17.14, 3.18.8, 3.19.5, and 3.20.1. This vulnerability was reported via the GitHub Bug Bounty program.Show less

In versions 29.0 and below, the `isSSRFSafeURL()` function in `objects/functions.php` contains a same-domain shortcircuit (lines 4290-4296) that allows any URL whose hostname matches `webSiteRootURL` to bypass all SSRF protections. Because the check compares only the hostname and ignores the port, an attacker can reach arbitrary ports on the AVideo server by using the site's public hostname with a non-standard port. The response body is saved to a web-accessible path, enabling full exfiltration. Commit a0156a6398362086390d949190f9d52a823000ba fixes the issue.Show less

FreeScout is a free self-hosted help desk and shared mailbox. Versions prior to 1.8.213 have a Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability in the IMAP/SMTP connection test functionality of FreeScout's `MailboxesController`. Three AJAX actions `fetch_test` (line 731), `send_test` (line 682), and `imap_folders` (line 773) in `app/Http/Controllers/MailboxesController.php` pass admin-configured `in_server`/`in_port` and `out_server`/`out_port` values directly to `fsockopen()` via `Helper::checkPort()` and to IMAP/SMTP client connections with zero SSRF protection. There is no IP validation, no hostname restriction, no blocklist of internal ranges, and no call to the project's own `sanitizeRemoteUrl()` or `checkUrlIpAndHost()` functions. The validation block in `connectionIncomingSave()` is entirely commented out. An authenticated admin can configure a mailbox's IMAP or SMTP server to point at any internal host and port, then trigger a connection test. The server opens raw TCP connections (via `fsockopen()`) and protocol-level connections (via IMAP client or SMTP transport) to the attacker-specified target. The response differentiates open from closed ports, enabling internal network port scanning. When the IMAP client connects to a non-IMAP service, the target's service banner or error response is captured in the IMAP debug log and returned in the AJAX response's `log` field, making this a semi-blind SSRF that enables service fingerprinting. In cloud environments, the metadata endpoint at `169[.]254[.]169[.]254` can be probed and partial response data may be leaked through protocol error messages. This is distinct from the `sanitizeRemoteUrl()` redirect bypass (freescout-3) -- different code path, different root cause, different protocol layer. Version 1.8.213 patches the vulnerability.Show less

Glances is an open-source system cross-platform monitoring tool. Prior to version 4.5.4, a Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability exists in the Glances IP plugin due to improper validation of the public_api configuration parameter. The value of public_api is used directly in outbound HTTP requests without any scheme restriction or hostname/IP validation. An attacker who can modify the Glances configuration can force the application to send requests to arbitrary internal or external endpoints. Additionally, when public_username and public_password are set, Glances automatically includes these credentials in the Authorization: Basic header, resulting in credential leakage to attacker-controlled servers. This vulnerability can be exploited to access internal network services, retrieve sensitive data from cloud metadata endpoints, and/or exfiltrate credentials via outbound HTTP requests. The issue arises because public_api is passed directly to the HTTP client (urlopen_auth) without validation, allowing unrestricted outbound connections and unintended disclosure of sensitive information. Version 4.5.4 contains a patch.Show less
