Prior to version 1.8.215, the reply and draft flows trust client-supplied encrypted attachment IDs. Any IDs present in `attachments_all[]` but omitted from retained lists are decrypted and passed directly to `Attachment::deleteByIds()`. Because `load_attachments` returns encrypted IDs for attachments on a visible conversation, a mailbox peer can replay those IDs through `save_draft` and delete the original attachment row and file. Version 1.8.215 fixes the vulnerability.Show less |

Prior to version 1.8.214, the undo-send route `GET /conversation/undo-reply/{thread_id}` checks only whether the current user can view the parent conversation. It does not verify that the current user created the reply being undone. In a shared mailbox, one agent can therefore recall another agent's just-sent reply during the 15-second undo window. Version 1.8.214 fixes the vulnerability.Show less |

Prior to version 1.8.213, the `load_customer_info` action in `POST /conversation/ajax` returns complete customer profile data to any authenticated user without verifying mailbox access. This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to modify global site-wide plugin configuration options, including toggling custom CSS, disabling blocks, changing layout defaults such as content width, container padding, and container gap, and altering auto-block-recovery behavior.Show less |

This results in a complete compromise of the instance. The vulnerability has been patched in v3.0.11 and v3.1.2. If upgrading is not immediately possible, the following mitigations can reduce risk: Restrict access to trusted users only (avoid granting accounts to untrusted parties); ensure all user passwords are strong and only shared with trusted individuals; run the instance only when needed; avoid leaving it continuously exposed; place the instance behind authentication layers such as a reverse proxy with additional access controls; disable or restrict access to the /api/profile endpoint if feasible; and/or monitor for suspicious privilege changes or unexpected administrative actions. Note that these are temporary mitigations and do not fully eliminate the vulnerability. Upgrading is strongly recommended.Show less |

Prior to version 20.17.0, the shared wishlist add-to-cart endpoint authorizes access with a public `sharing_code`, but loads the acted-on wishlist item by a separate global `wishlist_item_id` and never verifies that the item belongs to the shared wishlist referenced by that code. This lets an attacker use a valid shared wishlist code for wishlist A and a wishlist item ID belonging to victim wishlist B to import victim item B into the attacker's cart through the shared wishlist flow for wishlist A. Because the victim item's stored `buyRequest` is reused during cart import, the victim's private custom-option data is copied into the attacker's quote. If the product uses a file custom option, this can be elevated to cross-user file disclosure because the imported file metadata is preserved and the download endpoint is not ownership-bound. Version 20.17.0 patches the issue.Show less |

Prior to 0.10.0-260419-1910, the Vexa transcription-collector service exposes an internal endpoint `GET /internal/transcripts/{meeting_id}` that returns transcript data for any meeting without any authentication or authorization checks. An unauthenticated attacker can enumerate all meeting IDs, access any user's meeting transcripts without credentials, and steal confidential business conversations, passwords, and/or PII. Version 0.10.0-260419-1910 patches the issue.Show less |

In versions prior to 7.2.0, the family record deletion endpoint (SelectDelete.php) performs permanent, irreversible deletion of family records and all associated data via a plain GET request with no CSRF token validation. An attacker can craft a malicious page that, when visited by an authenticated administrator, silently triggers deletion of targeted family records including associated notes, pledges, persons, and property data without any user interaction. This issue has been fixed in version 7.2.0.Show less |

In versions prior to 7.2.0, the GET /api/person/{personId} endpoint loads and returns person records without performing object-level authorization checks. Although the legacy PersonView.php page enforces canEditPerson() restrictions, the API layer omits this check. Prior to version 0.71.1, an ordinary authenticated user can escalate their own account to administrator by sending `isAdmin=true` to `PUT /settings/users/{userId}` for their own user ID. The endpoint is intended to let a user edit their own profile, but it updates the sensitive `isAdmin` field without any admin-only authorization check. Version 0.71.1 patches the issue.Show less |

In versions 2.5 and below, the GymConfigUpdateView declares permission_required = 'config.change_gymconfig' but inherits WgerFormMixin instead of WgerPermissionMixin, so the permission is never enforced at runtime. Since GymConfig is an ownerless singleton, any authenticated user can modify the global gym configuration, triggering save() side effects that bulk-update user profile gym assignments — a vertical privilege escalation to installation-wide configuration control. This issue is fixed in version 2.5.Show less |

This is due to the absence of any capability check or nonce verification in the updateOptions() function, which is exposed via two AJAX hooks: wp_ajax_updateOptions (class-canto.php line 231) and wp_ajax_fbc_updateOptions (class-canto-settings.php line 76). Both hooks are registered exclusively under the wp_ajax_ prefix (requiring only a logged-in user), with no call to current_user_can() or check_ajax_referer(). This makes it possible for authenticated attackers with subscriber-level access and above to arbitrarily modify or delete plugin options controlling cron scheduling behavior (fbc_duplicates, fbc_cron, fbc_schedule, fbc_cron_time_day, fbc_cron_time_hour, fbc_cron_start) and to manipulate or clear the plugin's scheduled WordPress cron event (fbc_scheduled_update).Show less |

This is due to a missing authorization check in the tutor_update_course_content_order() function. The function only validates the nonce (CSRF protection) but does not verify whether the user has permission to manage course content. The can_user_manage() authorization check only executes when the 'content_parent' parameter is present in the request. When this parameter is omitted, the function proceeds directly to save_course_content_order() which manipulates the wp_posts table without any authorization validation. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers with subscriber-level access and above to detach all lessons from any topic, move lessons between topics, and modify the menu_order of course content, effectively allowing them to disrupt the structure of any course on the site.Show less |

This is due to insufficient capability checks in the kubio_rest_pre_insert_import_assets() function, which is hooked to the rest_pre_insert_{post_type} filter for posts, pages, templates, and template parts. When a post is created or updated via the REST API, Kubio parses block attributes looking for URLs in the 'kubio' attribute namespace and automatically imports them via importRemoteFile() without verifying the user has the upload_files capability. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access and above to bypass WordPress's normal media upload restrictions and upload files fetched from external URLs to the media library, creating attachment posts in the database.Show less |

The `post_edit` action handler in `Actions.php` passes `$_REQUEST['post']` directly to `Posts::edit()`, which calls `extract($args, EXTR_OVERWRITE)`. An attacker can inject `post[guestposting]=1` to overwrite the local `$guestposting` variable, causing the entire permission check block to be skipped. The nonce check uses a hardcoded `wpforo_verify_form` action shared across all 8 forum templates, so any user who can view any forum page obtains a valid nonce. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to edit the title, body, name, and email fields of any forum post, including posts in private forums, admin posts, and moderator posts. Content passes through `wpforo_kses()` which strips JavaScript but allows rich HTML.Show less |
