RustFS is a distributed object storage system built in Rust. Prior to 1.0.0-alpha.94, all four notification target admin API endpoints in `rustfs/src/admin/handlers/event.rs` use a `check_permissions` helper that validates authentication only (access key + session token), without performing any admin-action authorization via `validate_admin_request`. Every other admin handler in the codebase correctly calls `validate_admin_request` with a specific `AdminAction`. This is the only admin handler file that skips authorization. A non-admin user can overwrite a shared admin-defined notification target by name, causing subsequent bucket events to be delivered to an attacker-controlled endpoint. This enables cross-user event interception and audit evasion. 1.0.0-alpha.94 contains a patch.Show less

The TP Restore Categories And Taxonomies plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Missing Authorization in all versions up to, and including, 1.0.1. The delete_term() function, which handles the 'tpmcattt_delete_term' AJAX action, does not perform any capability check (e.g., current_user_can()) to verify the user has sufficient permissions. While it does verify a nonce via check_ajax_referer(), this nonce is generated for all authenticated users via the admin_enqueue_scripts hook and exposed on any wp-admin page (including profile.php, which subscribers can access). This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to permanently delete taxonomy term records from the plugin's trash/backup tables by sending a crafted AJAX request with a valid nonce and an arbitrary term_id.Show less

The Create DB Tables plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to and including 1.2.1. The plugin registers admin_post action hooks for creating tables (admin_post_add_table) and deleting tables (admin_post_delete_db_table) without implementing any capability checks via current_user_can() or nonce verification via wp_verify_nonce()/check_admin_referer(). The admin_post hook only requires the user to be logged in, meaning any authenticated user including Subscribers can access these endpoints. The cdbt_delete_db_table() function takes a user-supplied table name from $_POST['db_table'] and executes a DROP TABLE SQL query, allowing any authenticated attacker to delete any database table including critical WordPress core tables such as wp_users or wp_options. The cdbt_create_new_table() function similarly allows creating arbitrary tables. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to create arbitrary database tables and delete any existing database table, potentially destroying the entire WordPress installation.Show less

This is due to a missing capability check in the CalJSettingsPage class constructor, which processes the 'save-obtained-key' operation directly from POST data without verifying that the requesting user has the 'manage_options' capability, and without any nonce verification. The plugin bootstrap file (calj.php) instantiates CalJSettingsPage whenever is_admin() returns true, which is the case for any authenticated user making requests to wp-admin URLs (including admin-ajax.php). This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to modify the plugin's API key setting and clear the Shabbat cache, effectively taking control of the plugin's API integration.Show less

While `_saveUserGroups()` enforces per-group authorization for additions, it performs no equivalent authorization check for removals, so submitting an empty `groups` value removes all existing group memberships. Decidim is a participatory democracy framework. Starting in version 0.0.1 and prior to versions 0.30.5 and 0.31.1, the root level `commentable` field in the API allows access to all commentable resources within the platform, without any permission checks. All Decidim instances are impacted that have not secured the `/api` endpoint. The `/api` endpoint is publicly available with the default configuration. Versions 0.30.5 and 0.31.1 fix the issue. As a workaround, limit the scope to only authenticated users by limiting access to the `/api` endpoint. This would require custom code or installing the 3rd party module `Decidim::Apiauth`. With custom code, the `/api` endpoint can be limited to only authenticated users. The same configuration can be also used without the `allow` statements to disable all traffic to the the `/api` endpoint. When considering a workaround and the seriousness of the vulnerability, please consider the nature of the platform. If the platform is primarily serving public data, this vulnerability is not serious by its nature. If the platform is protecting some resources, e.g. inside private participation spaces, the vulnerability may expose some data to the attacker that is not meant public. For those who have enabled the organization setting "Force users to authenticate before access organization", the scope of this vulnerability is limited to the users who are allowed to log in to the Decidim platform. This setting was introduced in version 0.19.0 and it was applied to the `/api` endpoint in version 0.22.0.Show less

Any IDs present in `attachments_all[]` but omitted from retained lists are decrypted and passed directly to `Attachment::deleteByIds()`. Because `load_attachments` returns encrypted IDs for attachments on a visible conversation, a mailbox peer can replay those IDs through `save_draft` and delete the original attachment row and file. Version 1.8.215 fixes the vulnerability.Show less

Neko is a a self-hosted virtual browser that runs in Docker and uses WebRTC In versions 3.0.0 through 3.0.10 and 3.1.0 through 3.1.1, any authenticated user can immediately obtain full administrative control of the entire Neko instance (member management, room settings, broadcast control, session termination, etc.). This results in a complete compromise of the instance. The vulnerability has been patched in v3.0.11 and v3.1.2. If upgrading is not immediately possible, the following mitigations can reduce risk: Restrict access to trusted users only (avoid granting accounts to untrusted parties); ensure all user passwords are strong and only shared with trusted individuals; run the instance only when needed; avoid leaving it continuously exposed; place the instance behind authentication layers such as a reverse proxy with additional access controls; disable or restrict access to the /api/profile endpoint if feasible; and/or monitor for suspicious privilege changes or unexpected administrative actions. Note that these are temporary mitigations and do not fully eliminate the vulnerability. Upgrading is strongly recommended.Show less

Prior to version 20.17.0, the shared wishlist add-to-cart endpoint authorizes access with a public `sharing_code`, but loads the acted-on wishlist item by a separate global `wishlist_item_id` and never verifies that the item belongs to the shared wishlist referenced by that code. This lets an attacker use a valid shared wishlist code for wishlist A and a wishlist item ID belonging to victim wishlist B to import victim item B into the attacker's cart through the shared wishlist flow for wishlist A. Because the victim item's stored `buyRequest` is reused during cart import, the victim's private custom-option data is copied into the attacker's quote. If the product uses a file custom option, this can be elevated to cross-user file disclosure because the imported file metadata is preserved and the download endpoint is not ownership-bound. Version 20.17.0 patches the issue.Show less

In versions prior to 7.2.0, the family record deletion endpoint (SelectDelete.php) performs permanent, irreversible deletion of family records and all associated data via a plain GET request with no CSRF token validation. An attacker can craft a malicious page that, when visited by an authenticated administrator, silently triggers deletion of targeted family records including associated notes, pledges, persons, and property data without any user interaction. This issue has been fixed in version 7.2.0.Show less
