The Speed Optimizer – The All-In-One Performance-Boosting Plugin plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via Image Tag Attributes in all versions up to, and including, 7.8.0 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This is only exploitable when the site administrator has enabled the Lazy Load Media option in the plugin settings.Show less

Streambert is a cross-platform Electron Desktop App to stream and download video content. From version 2.5.0 until version 2.6.0, the wyzie-open-redeem IPC handler in index.js creates the partition:wyzie-redeem Electron session and registers an onHeadersReceived hook that removes the Content-Security-Policy header from every response in that session. The redeem window also lacks a setWindowOpenHandler restriction, so script injection in sub.wyzie.io, a loaded third-party resource, or a site reached through navigation executes without CSP constraints and can affect additional windows and persistent session storage. A user must open the Wyzie API key redemption window, and exploitation requires attacker-controlled script content in a loaded page. The resulting renderer script can invoke renderer-exposed application functionality and can be chained with other vulnerabilities to access internal services or sensitive data. This issue is fixed in version 2.6.0.Show less

Maps is a MediaWiki extension that enables visualization of geographic data through dynamic embedded maps. Prior to version 12.1.3, the display_map parser function in the Leaflet service accepts attacker-controlled HTML in the overlays parameter, and resources/leaflet/jquery.leaflet.js uses the overlay name as a Leaflet layer-control label without escaping it. A wiki user with the edit permission can store malicious wikitext that causes script execution when another user previews or views the affected map. The script executes in the viewing user's browser session and can access data or perform actions available to that user. This issue is fixed in version 12.1.3.Show less

This Critical severity Stored XSS, PrivEsc (Privilege Escalation), and Security Misconfiguration vulnerability was introduced in versions 7.1.1, 7.4.0, 7.13.0, 7.17.0, 7.19.0, 8.0.0, 8.5.0, 8.9.0, 9.0.1, 9.1.0, 9.2.0, 9.3.1, 9.4.0, 9.5.1, 10.0.2, 10.1.0 and 10.2.0 of Confluence Data Center and Server. This Stored XSS, PrivEsc (Privilege Escalation), and Security Misconfiguration vulnerability, with a CVSS Score of 8.6, allows an unauthenticated attacker to execute arbitrary HTML or JavaScript code on a victims browser, perform actions as a higher-privileged user, and to get into the system utilizing loopholes exposed from security best-practices being overlooked. Atlassian recommends that Confluence Data Center and Server customers upgrade to latest version, if you are unable to do so, upgrade your instance to one of the specified supported fixed versions: Confluence Data Center and Server 9.2: Upgrade to a release greater than or equal to 9.2.21 Confluence Data Center and Server 10.2: Upgrade to a release greater than or equal to 10.2.13 See the release notes ([https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/confluence-release-notes-327.html]). You can download the latest version of Confluence Data Center and Server from the download center ([https://www.atlassian.com/software/confluence/download-archives]). Froxlor is open source server administration software. Prior to 2.3.8, DNS TXT record content accepted by lib/Froxlor/Api/Commands/DomainZones.php can contain HTML special characters, lib/Froxlor/UI/Callbacks/Text.php returns the content from Text::wordwrap without HTML escaping, and templates/Froxlor/table/table.html.twig renders the callback result with the raw filter. An authenticated customer with DNS editor access can store JavaScript-bearing content in a TXT record. When an administrator views the affected domain's DNS configuration, the payload executes automatically in the administrator's browser session, which can expose session data or perform privileged panel actions. This issue is fixed in version 2.3.8.Show less

Koha before 26.05.02, 25.11.07, and 25.05.13 contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in the purchase suggestion handler that allows authenticated staff users to inject malicious scripts by submitting unsanitized input through the suggestion save operation. Attackers can supply crafted HTML or script content in fields such as title, author, isbn, publishercode, place, collectiontitle, itemtype, and note, which are stored without sanitization and later rendered in the suggestion list template, causing injected scripts to execute in the browser of any staff user who views the suggestions.Show less

Forem is open source software for building communities. In versions before commit 92eacd16a82cf9007ba8e16a2258b42e3b53ca9c, a malicious value submitted through feedback_message[message] is stored without sanitization and rendered in app/views/admin/feedback_messages/_feedback_message.html.erb through raw(feedback_message.message) when offender_id is present. Viewing the abuse report executes arbitrary JavaScript in an administrator's browser and may expose sensitive in-page data, abuse CSRF tokens, or perform administrative actions in the victim's session. The public FeedbackMessagesController accepts the report without authorization and previously permitted a submitted offender_id, making the vulnerable rendering path reachable by an unauthenticated attacker. This issue is fixed in commit 92eacd16a82cf9007ba8e16a2258b42e3b53ca9cShow less

MyBB is free and open source forum software. Prior to 1.8.40, the user datahandler does not properly validate checkbox and multiselect profile field types, resulting in stored JavaScript code injection. UserDataHandler::verify_profile_fields() only performs the specialized validation when is_array($profile_fields[$field]) is true. A non-array profile_fields[fidX] value instead of the expected profile_fields[fidX][] shape falls through to generic text handling and is stored without verification. The affected value is then rendered directly by member.php and inc/functions_post.php rather than processed by the MyCode parser. The uniquely identifying implementation details include inc/datahandlers/user.php. This issue is fixed in version 1.8.40.Show less

MyBB is free and open source forum software. Prior to 1.8.40, the Buddy/Ignore component does not sanitize usernames correctly, allowing attackers to perform JavaScript code injection through a specially crafted username. The User CP Buddy/Ignore list and the Select Buddies list in Private Messages pass usernames through htmlspecialchars_uni(), which may leave single quotes unescaped. The payload is triggered when a victim chooses Yes in Please Confirm while removing the username in usercp.php, or selects the username through the onclick handler in the xmlhttp.php Select Buddies popup. The uniquely identifying implementation details include Private Messages Select Buddies list, and unescaped single quotes. This issue is fixed in version 1.8.40.Show less

Trix is a what-you-see-is-what-you-get rich text editor for everyday writing. Prior to 2.1.17, Trix is vulnerable to cross-site scripting when a data-trix-serialized-attributes attribute bypasses the DOMPurify sanitizer. An attacker can craft HTML containing a data-trix-serialized-attributes attribute with a malicious payload that, when rendered, executes arbitrary JavaScript in the user's session and may perform unauthorized actions or disclose sensitive information.
