The VI: Include Post By plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'class_container' attribute of the 'include-post-by-cat' shortcode in all versions up to, and including, 0.4.200706 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user supplied attributes. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.Show less

The Power Charts Lite plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'id' parameter of the [pc] shortcode in all versions up to, and including, 0.1.0. This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on the 'id' shortcode attribute. Specifically, in the pc_shortcode() function, the 'id' attribute is extracted from user-supplied shortcode attributes and directly concatenated into an HTML div element's class attribute without any escaping or sanitization at line 62. The resulting HTML is then passed through html_entity_decode() before being returned, further undermining any potential safety. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.Show less

The Coachific Shortcode plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'userhash' shortcode attribute in all versions up to and including 1.0. This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. The plugin uses sanitize_text_field() on the 'userhash' parameter, which strips HTML tags but does not escape characters significant in a JavaScript string context (such as double quotes, semicolons, and parentheses). The sanitized value is then directly interpolated into a JavaScript string within a <script> tag on line 29 without any JavaScript-specific escaping (e.g., wp_json_encode() or esc_js()). This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.Show less

The WM JqMath plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'style' shortcode attribute of the [jqmath] shortcode in all versions up to and including 1.3. This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied shortcode attributes. The generate_jqMathFormula() function directly concatenates the 'style' attribute value into an HTML style attribute without applying esc_attr() or any other escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.Show less

The WP Circliful plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'id' shortcode attribute of the [circliful] shortcode and via multiple shortcode attributes of the [circliful_direct] shortcode in all versions up to and including 1.2. This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied shortcode attributes. Specifically, in the circliful_shortcode() function, the 'id' attribute value is concatenated directly into an HTML id attribute (line 285) without any escaping, allowing an attacker to break out of the double-quoted attribute and inject arbitrary HTML event handlers. Similarly, the circliful_direct_shortcode() function (line 257) outputs all shortcode attributes directly into HTML data-* attributes without escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.Show less

The Accessibly plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the REST API in all versions up to, and including, 3.0.3. The plugin registers REST API endpoints at `/otm-ac/v1/update-widget-options` and `/otm-ac/v1/update-app-config` with the `permission_callback` set to `__return_true`, which means no authentication or authorization check is performed. The `updateWidgetOptions()` function in `AdminApi.php` accepts user-supplied JSON data and passes it directly to `AccessiblyOptions::updateAppConfig()`, which saves it to the WordPress options table via `update_option()` without any sanitization or validation. The stored `widgetSrc` value is later retrieved by `AssetsManager::enqueueFrontendScripts()` and passed directly to `wp_enqueue_script()` as the script URL, causing it to be rendered as a `<script>` tag on every front-end page. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary JavaScript that executes for all site visitors by changing the `widgetSrc` option to point to a malicious external script.Show less

A Stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability was discovered in the Assets and Nodes functionality due to improper validation of an input parameter. An authenticated user with custom fields privileges can define a malicious custom field containing a JavaScript payload. When the victim views the Assets or Nodes pages, the XSS executes in their browser context, allowing the attacker to perform unauthorized actions as the victim, such as modify application data, disrupt application availability, and access limited sensitive information.Show less

Versions of the package github.com/yuin/goldmark/renderer/html before 1.7.17 are vulnerable to Cross-site Scripting (XSS) due to improper ordering of URL validation and normalization. The renderer validates link destinations using a prefix-based check (IsDangerousURL) before resolving HTML entities. This allows an attacker to bypass protocol filtering by encoding dangerous schemes using HTML5 named character references. For example, a payload such as javascript&colon;alert(1) is not recognized as dangerous during validation, leading to arbitrary script execution in the context of applications that render the URL.Show less

immich is a high performance self-hosted photo and video management solution. Versions prior to 2.7.3 contain an open redirect vulnerability in the shared album functionality, where the album name is inserted unsanitized into a <meta> tag in api.service.ts. A registered attacker can create a shared album with a crafted name containing 0;url=https://attackersite.com" http-equiv="refresh, which when rendered in the <meta property="og:title"> tag causes the victim's browser to redirect to an attacker-controlled site upon opening the share link. This facilitates phishing attacks, as the attacker could host a modified version of immich that collects login credentials from victims who believe they need to authenticate to view the shared album. This issue has been fixed in version 2.7.3.Show less

Docmost is open-source collaborative wiki and documentation software. In versions prior to 0.71.0, improper neutralization of attachment URLs in Docmost allows a low-privileged authenticated user to store a malicious `javascript:` URL inside an attachment node in page content. When another user views the page and activates the attachment link/icon, attacker-controlled JavaScript executes in the context of the Docmost origin. Version 0.71.0 patches the issue.Show less

Chamilo LMS is an open-source learning management system. In versions prior to 2.0.0-RC.3, a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in the social post attachment upload functionality, where an authenticated user can upload a malicious HTML file containing JavaScript via the /api/social_post_attachments endpoint. The uploaded file is served back from the application at the generated contentUrl without sanitization, content type restrictions, or a Content-Disposition: attachment header, causing the JavaScript to execute in the browser within the application's origin. Because the payload is stored server-side and runs in the trusted origin, an attacker can perform session hijacking, account takeover, privilege escalation (if an admin views the link), and arbitrary actions on behalf of the victim. This issue has been fixed in version 2.0.0-RC.3.Show less

October is a Content Management System (CMS) and web platform. Versions prior to 3.7.14 and 4.1.10 contain a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the SVG sanitization logic. The regex pattern used to strip event handler attributes (such as onclick or onload) could be bypassed using a crafted payload that exploits how the pattern matches attribute boundaries, allowing malicious SVG files to be uploaded through the Media Manager with embedded JavaScript. Exploitation could lead to privilege escalation if a superuser views or embeds the malicious SVG, and requires authenticated backend access with media upload permissions. The SVG must be viewed or embedded in a page for the payload to trigger. This issue has been fixed in versions 3.7.14 and 4.1.10.Show less
