SDMC NE6037 cable modem routers running firmware 7.1.6.0.25 and 7.1.6.1.9_B9 contain a hardcoded password vulnerability in the web management interface recovery endpoints (mgmt.php, npcmd.php) that allows unauthenticated attackers to gain root access by submitting the hardcoded credential to the recovery endpoint via HTTP. Attackers can leverage this hardcoded password to enable filtered SSH and Telnet services on the device, resulting in unauthenticated root-level remote access to the underlying system.Show less

Open ISES Tickets before 3.44.2 contains hardcoded MySQL database credentials in loader.php (a public-facing database utility) that are committed to the source repository. Any actor with access to the public source tree (or an unauthenticated attacker with read access to the file on a deployed installation) can read the username, password, and database name and use them to connect to the database if it is reachable from their network.Show less

Taiko AG1000-01A SMS Alert Gateway Rev 7.3 and Rev 8 contains a hard-coded credential vulnerability in the embedded web configuration interface where authentication is implemented entirely in client-side JavaScript in login.zhtml, exposing static plaintext credentials in the page source. Unauthenticated attackers with network access can recover administrative credentials directly from the client-side validate() function to obtain full administrative access to the device.Show less

Huawei HG630 V2 router contains an authentication bypass vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to obtain administrative access by retrieving the device serial number. Attackers can query the /api/system/deviceinfo endpoint without authentication to extract the SerialNumber field, then use the last 8 characters as the default password to log in to the router.Show less

SOCFortress CoPilot focuses on providing a single pane of glass for all your security operations needs. Prior to 0.1.57, SOCFortress CoPilot ships a hardcoded JWT signing secret as a fallback value in backend/app/auth/utils.py:28 and ships it verbatim in .env.example. Any deployment where JWT_SECRET is not explicitly set — including the default Docker Compose setup — signs all authentication tokens with this publicly known value. An unauthenticated attacker can forge arbitrary admin-scoped JWTs and gain full control of the application and every security tool it manages without any credentials. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.1.57.Show less

A flaw has been found in PicoTronica e-Clinic Healthcare System ECHS 5.7. The impacted element is an unknown function of the file /cdemos/echs/priv/echs.js. This manipulation of the argument ADMIN_KEY causes hard-coded credentials. The attack is possible to be carried out remotely. The exploit has been published and may be used. Upgrading to version 5.7.1 is sufficient to resolve this issue. The affected component should be upgraded. The vendor was contacted early, responded in a very professional manner and quickly released a fixed version of the affected product.Show less

Easy PayPal Events & Tickets plugin for WordPress before version 1.4 contains a hardcoded authentication bypass vulnerability in the QR code scanning functionality that allows unauthenticated remote attackers to bypass hash verification by supplying 'test' as the hash parameter. D-Link DIR-456U Hardware Revision A1 (End-of-Life, EOL) contains a hardcoded telnet backdoor. The device starts a telnet daemon at boot via /etc/init0.d/S80telnetd.sh with the username "Alphanetworks" and the static password "whdrv01_dlob_dir456U" read from /etc/config/image_sign. The custom telnetd binary accepts a -u user:password flag, and the custom login binary uses strcmp() to validate credentials. Successful authentication grants an unauthenticated attacker on the local network a root shell with full administrative control. The device has reached End-of-Life (EOL) and will not receive patches.Show less
