When a high privileged victim extracts this malicious archive, it gets processed by SAPCAR on their system, resulting in out-of-bounds memory read and write. This could lead to file extraction and file overwrite outside the intended directories. This vulnerability has low impact on the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the application.Show less |

This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of GStreamer. Interaction with this library is required to exploit this vulnerability but attack vectors may vary depending on the implementation.
The specific flaw exists within the parsing of H266 sei messages. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of the length of user-supplied data prior to copying it to a fixed-length stack-based buffer. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of the current process. Was ZDI-CAN-27381.Show less |

net: lan743x: fix potential out-of-bounds write in lan743x_ptp_io_event_clock_get()
Before calling lan743x_ptp_io_event_clock_get(), the 'channel' value
is checked against the maximum value of PCI11X1X_PTP_IO_MAX_CHANNELS(8).
This seems correct and aligns with the PTP interrupt status register
(PTP_INT_STS) specifications.
However, lan743x_ptp_io_event_clock_get() writes to ptp->extts[] with
only LAN743X_PTP_N_EXTTS(4) elements, using channel as an index:
lan743x_ptp_io_event_clock_get(..., u8 channel,...)
{
...
/* Update Local timestamp */
extts = &ptp->extts[channel];
extts->ts.tv_sec = sec;
...
}
To avoid an out-of-bounds write and utilize all the supported GPIO
inputs, set LAN743X_PTP_N_EXTTS to 8.

Prior to version 3.5.29, the MMRDecoder::scanruns method is affected by an OOB-write vulnerability, because it does not check that the xr pointer stays within the bounds of the allocated buffer. This can lead to writes beyond the allocated memory, resulting in a heap corruption condition. An out-of-bounds read with pr is also possible for the same reason. This issue has been patched in version 3.5.29.Show less |

wifi: ath9k_htc: Abort software beacon handling if disabled
A malicious USB device can send a WMI_SWBA_EVENTID event from an
ath9k_htc-managed device before beaconing has been enabled. This causes
a device-by-zero error in the driver, leading to either a crash or an
out of bounds read.
Prevent this by aborting the handling in ath9k_htc_swba() if beacons are
not enabled.Show less |

iio: adc: ad4851: fix ad4858 chan pointer handling
The pointer returned from ad4851_parse_channels_common() is incremented
internally as each channel is populated. In ad4858_parse_channels(),
the same pointer was further incremented while setting ext_scan_type
fields for each channel. This resulted in indio_dev->channels being set
to a pointer past the end of the allocated array, potentially causing
memory corruption or undefined behavior.
Fix this by iterating over the channels using an explicit index instead
of incrementing the pointer. This preserves the original base pointer
and ensures all channel metadata is set correctly.Show less |
