A security vulnerability has been detected in DrayTek Vigor2960 1.5.1.6 Revision 8218. This affects the function ruequest_certificate of the file /cgi-bin/mainfunction.cgi of the component IPsec Handler. Such manipulation of the argument option leads to command injection. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploit has been disclosed publicly and may be used. Upgrading to version 1.5.1.7 mitigates this issue. Upgrading the affected component is recommended. The vendor explains: "2960 1.5.1.7 has corrected many security issues. And 2960 is EoS with limited support, only major issues would be reviewed(e.g. unauthenticated vuln.)". This vulnerability only affects products that are no longer supported by the maintainer.Show less

launch-editor allows users to open files with line numbers in editor from Node.js. Prior to 2.14.2, launch-editor-middleware processes an attacker-controlled Windows file argument where the file argument ends in a parent-directory component plus a line-and-column suffix: the path is resolved while the suffix is still present, and launch-editor removes the suffix before its existsSync check, leaving the existing parent directory for existsSync and allowing the attacker-controlled file argument to pass filename existence validation without requiring the malicious filename to exist. The bypass can lead to OS command injection when combined with the separately described Windows percent-expansion flaw. This issue is fixed in version 2.14.2.Show less

A weakness has been identified in DrayTek Vigor2960 1.5.1.6 Revision 8218. The impacted element is the function rename_table of the file /cgi-bin/mainfunction.cgi of the component Rename Table Handler. This manipulation of the argument newtable causes command injection. The attack can be initiated remotely. The exploit has been made available to the public and could be used for attacks. Upgrading to version 1.5.1.7 is sufficient to resolve this issue. It is suggested to upgrade the affected component. The vendor explains: "2960 1.5.1.7 has corrected many security issues. And 2960 is EoS with limited support, only major issues would be reviewed(e.g. unauthenticated vuln.)". A security flaw has been discovered in mcollina mcp-ripgrep up to 0.4.0. Affected is an unknown function of the file src/index.ts of the component Advanced Search Tool. The manipulation of the argument fileType results in os command injection. The attack requires a local approach. The exploit has been released to the public and may be used for attacks. The real existence of this vulnerability is still doubted at the moment. The code's own escapeShellArg on sibling arguments (skipped only for fileType) indicates that this is a CWE-78 oversight, not a documented design. The project maintainer cites the documentation: "This MCP server executes shell commands using the ripgrep tool. While efforts have been made to safely escape arguments, use caution when providing input, as it runs commands on your machine."Show less

The WP Photo Album Plus plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authenticated Command Injection in all versions up to, and including, 9.3.02.002 via the `value` parameter of the `update-photo` AJAX action. This is due to insufficient shell escaping within the `wppa_image_magick_a()` function, where the attacker-controlled `value` parameter is concatenated raw — without `escapeshellarg()` — into an ImageMagick command string before being passed to `exec()`; further, `wppa_decode()` actively restores percent-encoded shell metacharacters (e.g., `%26`→`&`, `%23`→`#`) rather than stripping them, allowing crafted payloads to survive sanitization and break out of the ImageMagick argument context. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers holding the plugin-defined `wppa_upload` capability to execute arbitrary operating-system commands as the web-server user, achieving full remote code execution on the underlying server. Exploitation requires ImageMagick to be enabled on the server; the `wppa_upload` capability is a plugin-level privilege that site administrators may grant to lower-privileged WordPress roles via the plugin's Users settings, broadening the pool of potential attackers beyond administrators.Show less

OpenPrinting CUPS is an open source printing system for Linux and other Unix-like operating systems. Prior to 2.4.20, the backend/ipp.c quote_string() function preserves carriage-return and line-feed characters in a remote printer-controlled marker-message before report_attr() writes the value to the scheduler status stream. The scheduler can parse an injected newline as a separate PPD: control line and persist an attacker-selected PPD keyword. The reporter demonstrated that a later print job on a Foomatic-backed queue could consume an injected FoomaticRIPCommandLine value and execute in the filter context as lp. This issue is fixed in version 2.4.20.Show less

A vulnerability has been found in Wavlink WL-WN530BE2-A up to M30BE2_V250604. The affected element is the function sub_12580 of the file api.cgi of the component Login Processing. The manipulation of the argument REMOTE_ADDR leads to os command injection. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. Upgrading to version 2026-09-24-841a51c6d5_tclinux.bin is sufficient to fix this issue. You should upgrade the affected component. The vendor confirms: "We confirm the finding, and it has already been addressed. In the current firmware the api=info&client=app handler no longer builds a shell command: the login script is now invoked through an argument vector (execvp) instead of system(), and the client address is length-limited and null-checked."Show less
