Prior to 4.0.1, a behavior change in libtiff 4.7.1 causes the indirect TIFF tile path in src/openslide-decode-tiff.c and _openslide_tiff_read_tile() to request a full-height destination for a partial bottom tile row, allowing uninitialized heap memory to enter pixel data returned by openslide_read_region(). A crafted but valid slide can trigger the issue in TIFF-based formats other than Hamamatsu NDPI when a network service renders attacker-provided slides. Successful extraction depends on pixel transparency handling and recompression, OpenSlide with libtiff 4.7.0 or earlier is not affected, and official binary builds 4.0.0.10 and 4.0.0.11 are affected. This issue is fixed in OpenSlide 4.0.1 and official binary build 4.0.0.12.Show less |

From 0.1.1 until 0.5.4, the aarch64 implementations of Cmov and CmovEq in cmov/src/backends/aarch64.rs assume high bits are zero-extended when loading values smaller than a register, so set high bits such as [8..] in a Cmov selector or [16..] of self or other in the u16 and i16 CmovEq implementations can cause left.cmovz(&right, condition) to produce incorrect output. This issue is fixed in version 0.5.4.Show less |

Attackers can trigger an infinite loop or denial of service during shutdown by exploiting the unsafe destruction order that causes iteration over deallocated memory.Show less |

dmaengine: idxd: fix possible wrong descriptor completion in llist_abort_desc()
At the end of this function, d is the traversal cursor of flist, but the
code completes found instead. This can lead to issues such as NULL pointer
dereferences, double completion, or descriptor leaks.
Fix this by completing d instead of found in the final
list_for_each_entry_safe() loop.Show less |

Prior to 1.4.3, decode_signed32() in src/bacnet/bacint.c reconstructs a 32-bit signed integer from four APDU bytes using signed left shifts. When any of the four bytes has bit 7 set (value ≥ 0x80), the left-shift operation overflows a signed int32_t, which is undefined behavior per the C standard. This is flagged thousands of times per minute by UndefinedBehaviorSanitizer on any BACnet input containing signed-integer property values with high-bit-set bytes. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.4.3.Show less |

Prior to version 2.3.1.6, there is an Undefined Behavior (UB) condition in IccUtil.cpp triggered by a crafted input profile. Under UndefinedBehaviorSanitizer, the issue is reported as invalid left shift operations on icUInt32Number (unsigned 32-bit) where the shifted value “cannot be represented” in that type. Prior to version 2.3.1.6, a crafted ICC profile can trigger Undefined Behavior (UB) in CIccOpDefEnvVar::Exec() due to invalid enum values being loaded for icSigCmmEnvVar. netfilter: xt_IDLETIMER: reject rev0 reuse of ALARM timer labels
IDLETIMER revision 0 rules reuse existing timers by label and always call
mod_timer() on timer->timer.
If the label was created first by revision 1 with XT_IDLETIMER_ALARM,
the object uses alarm timer semantics and timer->timer is never initialized.
Reusing that object from revision 0 causes mod_timer() on an uninitialized
timer_list, triggering debugobjects warnings and possible panic when
panic_on_warn=1.
Fix this by rejecting revision 0 rule insertion when an existing timer with
the same label is of ALARM type.Show less |
