In versions prior to 4.9.0, the EntityIdentifier.equals() has inverted null/self branches which could lead to incorrect equality comparisons. The EntityIdentifier.equals() method has inverted logic for null and self-reference checks, returning true for null comparisons and false for self-comparisons. This does not affect Cedar authorization decisions (computed in Rust from JSON), but could affect integrators who perform their own equality checks on entity identifiers. This issue has been fixed in version 4.9.0.Show less |

The bulk AJAX endpoint in the management views compares received JSON integer group IDs against string literals, causing the protection check to always pass, which allows deletion of all six built-in groups and destroys the forum's permission model, potentially rendering the site unusable.Show less |

Prior to 83.0.0, FileList applied MANIFEST.in exclude, global-exclude, recursive-exclude, and prune directives by matching compiled glob patterns against on-disk file names without Unicode normalization, so on macOS APFS or HFS+ an NFD file name could bypass an NFC exclusion rule and be packed into a source distribution. This issue affects the function org.HdrHistogram.DoubleHistogram.recordValue of the file src/main/java/org/HdrHistogram/DoubleHistogram.java of the component Range Check. Performing a manipulation results in incorrect comparison. The attack is only possible with local access. The exploit has been made public and could be used. The presence of this vulnerability remains uncertain at this time. This issue is disputed due to the potential lack of crossing of security boundaries and the pre-requisites for a successful attack.Show less |

Affected is the function GatewayStreamConsumer._filter_and_accumulate of the file gateway/stream_consumer.py of the component Streaming Reasoning Tag Filter. The manipulation leads to improper handling of case sensitivity. The attack may be initiated remotely. The attack's complexity is rated as high. The exploitability is told to be difficult. The exploit has been disclosed publicly and may be used. The project decided to not implement a dedicated fix: "[T]he analysis and the fix are both sound. It just lands below the bar for the maintenance cost of a duplicated scrub path."Show less |

Ciphertexts that differ from the expected re-encryption solely in bytes 1536-1567 bypass implicit rejection and are accepted as valid, breaking IND-CCA2 security. An attacker able to submit chosen ciphertexts to a decapsulation oracle that uses a static ML-KEM-1024 key, and to observe whether the genuine shared secret or the implicit-rejection secret was produced, can use this as a plaintext-checking oracle to recover the private key. A proof of concept recovered a full ML-KEM-1024 private key with approximately 98% success using roughly 350 chosen ciphertexts. The flaw is a deterministic logic error and does not rely on timing measurements.Show less |

Prior to version 0.21.0, a logic error in `ServeCreateOrUpdatePlaylist` allows any authenticated Subsonic user (including non-admin) to write playlist M3U content to an attacker-controlled absolute filesystem path on the gonic host, and to create intermediate directories with `0o777` permissions. The bug is independent of CVE-2026-49338 and CVE-2026-49339. It is an unreachable guard clause combined with no path containment in `Store.Write`. Version 0.21.0 patches the issue.Show less |

In versions 8.2.6.4 and prior, ommit d4d10006 ("Expand validation to block .. in config_file_name and configver for improved security") added a line in app/modules/config/config.py:462. This is tuple-membership, not substring containment — '..' in (a, b, c) evaluates to True only if any of a, b, c is equal to the literal string '..'. For any realistic path-traversal payload (../../etc/passwd, ..\\..\\etc\\passwd, etc.) the check returns False and the patch silently lets the payload through. Prior to 6.2.1, using certain modifiers on RegExp objects in the allowedAud, allowedIss, allowedSub, allowedJti, or allowedNonce options in verify functions can cause certain unintended behaviours. This is because some modifiers are stateful and will cause failures in every second verification attempt regardless of the validity of the token provided. Such modifiers are /g (global matching) and /y (sticky matching). This does NOT allow invalid tokens to be accepted, only for valid tokens to be improperly rejected in some configurations. Instead it causes 50% of valid authentication requests to fail in an alternating pattern. This vulnerability is fixed in 6.2.1.Show less |

Prior to versions 8.6.69 and 9.7.0-alpha.14, an authenticated user can bypass the immutability guard on session fields (expiresAt, createdWith) by sending a null value in a PUT request to the session update endpoint. This allows nullifying the session expiry, making the session valid indefinitely and bypassing configured session length policies. This issue has been patched in versions 8.6.69 and 9.7.0-alpha.14.Show less |

Prior to version 0.4.11, the stripe/charge payment method did not check Stripe's Idempotent-Replayed response header when creating PaymentIntents. An attacker could replay a valid credential containing the same spt token against a new challenge, and the server would accept the replayed Stripe PaymentIntent as a new successful payment without actually charging the customer again. This allowed an attacker to pay once and consume unlimited resources by replaying the credential. This issue has been patched in version 0.4.11.Show less |

Prior to 22.0.11, 23.5.3, and 25.3.0, The Fr (scalar field) types for BN254 and BLS12-381 in soroban-sdk compared values using their raw U256 representation without first reducing modulo the field modulus r. This caused mathematically equal field elements to compare as not-equal when one or both values were unreduced (i.e., >= r). The vulnerability requires an attacker to supply crafted Fr values through contract inputs, and compare them directly without going through host-side arithmetic operations. Smart contracts that rely on Fr equality checks for security-critical logic could produce incorrect results. The impact depends on how the affected contract uses Fr equality comparisons, but can result in incorrect authorization decisions or validation bypasses in contracts that perform equality checks on user-supplied scalar values. This vulnerability is fixed in 22.0.11, 23.5.3, and 25.3.0.Show less |

An issue was discovered in `httpsig-hyper` prior to version 0.0.23 where Digest header verification could incorrectly succeed due to misuse of Rust's `matches!` macro. Specifically, the comparison `if matches!(digest, _expected_digest)` treated `_expected_digest` as a pattern binding rather than a value comparison, resulting in unconditional success of the match expression. As a consequence, digest verification could incorrectly return success even when the computed digest did not match the expected value. Applications relying on Digest verification as part of HTTP message signature validation may therefore fail to detect message body modification. The severity depends on how the library is integrated and whether additional signature validation layers are enforced. This issue has been fixed in `httpsig-hyper` 0.0.23. The fix replaces the incorrect `matches!` usage with proper value comparison and additionally introduces constant-time comparison for digest verification as defense-in-depth. Regression tests have also been added to prevent reintroduction of this issue. Users are strongly advised to upgrade to the patched version. There is no reliable workaround without upgrading. Users who cannot immediately upgrade should avoid relying solely on Digest verification for message integrity and ensure that full HTTP message signature verification is enforced at the application layer.Show less |
