Prior to 1.6.2, Reporting_RCBWriteAccessHandler accepts an RptID longer than 129 bytes in the report-control-block write path. When GI later causes sendNextReportEntrySegment to serialize the report, the function wraps rptIdBuf[130] as a temporary MmsValue and passes it to MmsValue_setVisibleString. The setter's resize path frees the stack-backed buffer, allowing a remote client to trigger an invalid free and server crash by writing the oversized RptID and then generating a report. This issue is fixed in version 1.6.2.Show less |

When an application passes text into Qt Quick Ultralite using the public Qul::String interface type, and that text is held in a std::string, the conversion to the internal string type copies the pointer without taking ownership of it. Two objects then release the same memory, producing a double free, an invalid free, or a use-after-free.Show less |

This vulnerability is due to improper validation when an affected device is processing an MPLS echo-request packet. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted MPLS echo-request to an IP address on an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to execute arbitrary code with root privileges and could cause process crashes, which could result in a device reload and a DoS condition.Show less |

This vulnerability affects the function Reporting_RCBWriteAccessHandler of the file src/iec61850/server/mms_mapping/reporting.c of the component Report Sending Path Handler. The manipulation results in free of memory not on the heap. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploit has been released to the public and may be used for attacks. Upgrading to version 1.6.2 is able to resolve this issue. The patch is identified as 5b2a69f44256b8548927d8afdd7ac5f5381abe1e. It is suggested to upgrade the affected component. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure.Show less |

This issue affects Avast Antivirus, AVG Antivirus, Norton Antivirus, Avast One, and Avast Business Antivirus on Windows, macOS, and Linux for virus definition builds before VPS 25022500.
The affected scanning logic is delivered through a shared Gen Digital virus definition update stream. The same stream feeds the consumer antivirus products listed in this advisory and other Gen Digital products that embed the same engine. Mitigation flows through this update channel; installations at or above the listed build are not vulnerable regardless of which product consumes the stream.Show less |

In affected versions specific DATA submessages can be sent to a discovery locator which may trigger a free error. This can remotely crash any Fast-DDS process. The call to free() could potentially leave the pointer in the attackers control which could lead to a double free. This issue has been addressed in versions 2.12.0, 2.11.3, 2.10.3, and 2.6.7. Users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.Show less |

Prior to version 1.2.0, an incorrect free when decoding target information can trigger a denial of service. The error condition incorrectly assumes the `cb` and `sh` buffers contain a copy of the data that needs to be freed. However, that is not the case. This vulnerability can be triggered via the main `gss_accept_sec_context` entry point. This will likely trigger an assertion failure in `free`, causing a denial-of-service. This issue is fixed in version 1.2.0.Show less |
