Deserialization of Untrusted Data

The JS Archive List plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to PHP Object Injection in all versions up to, and including, 6.1.7 via the 'included' shortcode attribute. This is due to the deserialization of untrusted input supplied via the 'included' parameter of the plugin's shortcode. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to inject a PHP Object. No known POP chain is present in the vulnerable software. If a POP chain is present via an additional plugin or theme installed on the target system, it could allow the attacker to delete arbitrary files, retrieve sensitive data, or execute code.Show less

LangGraph SQLite Checkpoint is an implementation of LangGraph CheckpointSaver that uses SQLite DB (both sync and async, via aiosqlite). In version 1.0.9 and prior, LangGraph checkpointers can load msgpack-encoded checkpoints that reconstruct Python objects during deserialization. If an attacker can modify checkpoint data in the backing store (for example, after a database compromise or other privileged write access to the persistence layer), they can potentially supply a crafted payload that triggers unsafe object reconstruction when the checkpoint is loaded. Avira Internet Security contains a deserialization of untrusted data vulnerability in the System Speedup component. The Avira.SystemSpeedup.RealTimeOptimizer.exe process, which runs with SYSTEM privileges, deserializes data from a file located in C:\\ProgramData using .NET BinaryFormatter without implementing input validation or deserialization safeguards. Because the file can be created or modified by a local user in default configurations, an attacker can supply a crafted serialized payload that is deserialized by the privileged process, resulting in arbitrary code execution as SYSTEM.Show less
