An unauthenticated attacker can send a truncated quoted argument to the ManageSieve login process, which makes it spin in an infinite loop consuming CPU. This can cause degradation or denial of service for Sieve script management, and repeated connections can consume all available CPU on the server. Monitor system for abnormal CPU usage and kill the offending process. Restrict network access to the ManageSieve service to trusted clients. Update to non-vulnerable version. No publicly available exploits are known.Show less

An attacker that can send mail to a user can craft a message header whose values are chosen to collide in an internal hash table, which makes the IMAP THREAD command consume CPU disproportionate to the size of the message. This is a separate issue from CVE-2026-40014 and is not addressed by that fix. Whenever a mail client issues a THREAD command on the affected mailbox, this can cause degradation or denial of service for IMAP. Monitor system for abnormal CPU usage, kill the offending process and remove the offending message from the affected mailbox. Update to non-vulnerable version. No publicly available exploits are known.Show less

An unauthenticated attacker can crash the ManageSieve login process by sending a small malformed command before authenticating. If running in high-security mode (default for community releases), only the attacker's own connection is terminated. If running in high-performance mode (default for Pro releases), all connections handled by the same managesieve-login process are terminated. Repeating the attack can cause denial of service for Sieve script management. Restrict network access to the ManageSieve service to trusted clients. Update to non-vulnerable version. No publicly available exploits are known.Show less

An attacker that can send mail to a user can craft a message whose headers contain a very large number of email addresses or MIME parameters, which causes excessive memory usage when the message is later parsed. The message is still delivered, but reading it over IMAP can exhaust the memory limit of the process and terminate it, causing denial of service for the affected user. Update to non-vulnerable version. No publicly available exploits are known.Show less

Trilium is an open-source hierarchical note-taking application. In versions prior to 0.104.0, the automatic image-download feature accepts file:// URLs in a note's img tags and reads the referenced local file with no path validation, allowing any authenticated user to disclose arbitrary files readable by the Trilium process. When a text note is saved, Trilium scans its HTML for image sources and downloads each external one; because the HTML sanitizer keeps file as an allowed scheme, a source such as file:///etc/passwd is passed straight to a filesystem read and its contents are stored as a note attachment the user can then retrieve. Pointing the same primitive at an unbounded source such as /dev/zero causes uncontrolled memory allocation that crashes the server process. The feature is enabled by default and is reachable through the web UI, the ETAPI, the web clipper, and note imports, requiring only an authenticated session or an ETAPI token. This issue is fixed in version 0.104.0Show less

NLTK before 3.10.3 contains a regular expression denial of service vulnerability in Pl196xCorpusReader that allows attackers to cause quadratic CPU consumption by supplying malformed TEI blocks with many unmatched opening tags. Attackers can exploit lazy regex patterns in the read_block method through public APIs like words() and tagged_words() to force repeated rescans and achieve near-quadratic runtime growth.Show less

Spring Batch's FlatFileItemReader supports files where a single logical record spans multiple physical lines — for example, a CSV field that contains embedded newlines wrapped in quotes. Wings is the server control plane for the Pterodactyl game-server management panel. In versions up to and including 1.13.2, the SFTP write path does not enforce a server's disk quota during a transfer, allowing a tenant with SFTP write access to a single server to exhaust the host node's physical disk and take down every server on it. Wings checks available space only once, as a boolean, when the write handle is opened, using a stale cached usage value and without knowing the size of the incoming data, and it then returns a raw, unaccounted file handle that is never re-checked as the transfer proceeds. A single upload can therefore be written without bound, far beyond the configured disk limit, until the node's disk is full, and because a server stopped for exceeding its limit is not treated as suspended, SFTP writes are still accepted even after the quota is already exceeded. This issue is fixed in version 1.13.3.Show less

Weblate is a web-based continuous localization platform used to manage software translations. In versions prior to 2026.7, a user with the built-in "Edit source" role can store a malicious regular expression in a source string's flags that is executed without any timeout, allowing them to stall requests and deny service. Regular expressions supplied through the regex: quality check and regex placeholders are compiled during validation but later run against translation content in RegexCheck and PlaceholderCheck with no time limit, so a catastrophic-backtracking pattern like ^(a|aa)+$ can consume CPU indefinitely. Because Weblate re-runs these checks for every linked target unit in the same request when a source unit's flags change, a single edit can trigger sustained CPU-bound denial of service. This issue is fixed in version 2026.7.Show less
