fbdev: rivafb: fix divide error in nv3_arb()
A userspace program can trigger the RIVA NV3 arbitration code by calling
the FBIOPUT_VSCREENINFO ioctl on /dev/fb*. When doing so, the driver
recomputes FIFO arbitration parameters in nv3_arb(), using state->mclk_khz
(derived from the PRAMDAC MCLK PLL) as a divisor without validating it
first.
In a normal setup, state->mclk_khz is provided by the real hardware and is
non-zero. However, an attacker can construct a malicious or misconfigured
device (e.g. a crafted/emulated PCI device) that exposes a bogus PLL
configuration, causing state->mclk_khz to become zero. Once
nv3_get_param() calls nv3_arb(), the division by state->mclk_khz in the gns
calculation causes a divide error and crashes the kernel.
Fix this by checking whether state->mclk_khz is zero and bailing out before
doing the division.
The following log reveals it:

Prior to 3.24.0, division by zero in MS-ADPCM and IMA-ADPCM decoders when nBlockAlign is 0, leading to a crash. In libfreerdp/codec/dsp.c, both ADPCM decoders use size % block_size where block_size = context->common.format.nBlockAlign. The nBlockAlign value comes from the Server Audio Formats PDU on the RDPSND channel. The value 0 is not validated anywhere before reaching the decoder. When nBlockAlign = 0, the modulo operation causes a SIGFPE (floating point exception) crash. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.24.0.Show less |

This vulnerability is due to lack of proper error checking when decompressing VBA data. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted VBA data to the Snort 3 Detection Engine on the targeted device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause the Snort 3 Detection Engine to unexpectedly restart causing a a denial of service (DoS) condition.Show less |

ImageMagick versions prior to 7.1.2-8 are vulnerable to denial-of-service due to unsigned integer underflow and division-by-zero in the CLAHEImage function. clk: sunxi-ng: mp: Fix dual-divider clock rate readback
When dual-divider clock support was introduced, the P divider offset was
left out of the .recalc_rate readback function. This causes the clock
rate to become bogus or even zero (possibly due to the P divider being
1, leading to a divide-by-zero).
Fix this by incorporating the P divider offset into the calculation.Show less |

DAMON's RECLAIM and LRU_SORT modules perform no validation on

division-by-zero errors.
Avoid the divide-by-zero by adding validation checks when DAMON modules
attempt to apply the parameters.

During the calculation of 'hot_thres' and 'cold_thres', either
'sample_interval' or 'aggr_interval' is used as the divisor, which may
lead to division-by-zero errors. Fix it by directly returning -EINVAL
when such a case occurs. Additionally, since 'aggr_interval' is already
required to be set no smaller than 'sample_interval' in damon_set_attrs(),
only the case where 'sample_interval' is zero needs to be checked.Show less |
