spi_transceive is a Zephyr __syscall and its verify handler (drivers/spi/spi_handlers.c) copies the caller-supplied spi_config from userspace without checking the frequency field, so a userspace thread that has been granted access to a DesignWare SPI device kernel object can pass frequency = 0 and trigger an unsigned integer divide-by-zero in spi_dw_configure().
On Cortex-M Mainline (SCB->CCR.DIV_0_TRP is set in z_arm_fault_init()) and on ARC (a dedicated __ev_div_zero vector) this raises a CPU exception, resulting in a kernel fault and local denial of service.
The fix rejects zero frequency and frequencies above clock_frequency / 2 (the DesignWare SSI databook minimum SCKDIV of 2) with -EINVAL. The defect affects all Zephyr releases up to and including v4.4.0; exploitation requires CONFIG_USERSPACE=y and an unprivileged thread already granted SPI driver permission. There is no memory-corruption or information-disclosure impact.Show less |

When a malicious xApp sends a high volume of E42_RIC_SUBSCRIPTION_REQUESTs via the FlexRIC iApp (port 36422/SCTP), the E2 Agent generates KPM Indication reports at high frequency. sound: ua101: fix division by zero at probe
Add a missing sanity check for bNrChannels in detect_usb_format()
to prevent a division by zero in playback_urb_complete() and
capture_urb_complete().
USB core does not validate class-specific descriptor fields such
as bNrChannels, so drivers must verify them before use. If a
device provides bNrChannels = 0, frame_bytes becomes zero and is
later used as a divisor in the URB completion handlers, leading
to a kernel crash.Show less |

mptcp: do not account for OoO in mptcp_rcvbuf_grow()
MPTCP-level OoOs are physiological when multiple subflows are active
concurrently and will not cause retransmissions nor are caused by
drops.
Accounting for them in mptcp_rcvbuf_grow() causes the rcvbuf slowly
drifting towards tcp_rmem[2].
Remove such accounting. Note that subflows will still account for TCP-level
OoO when the MPTCP-level rcvbuf is propagated.
This also closes a subtle and very unlikely race condition with rcvspace
init; active sockets with user-space holding the msk-level socket lock,
could complete such initialization in the receive callback, after that the
first OoO data reaches the rcvbuf and potentially triggering a divide by
zero Oops.Show less |

netfilter: nfnetlink_osf: fix divide-by-zero in OSF_WSS_MODULO
nf_osf_match_one() computes ctx->window % f->wss.val in the
OSF_WSS_MODULO branch with no guard for f->wss.val == 0. A
CAP_NET_ADMIN user can add such a fingerprint via nfnetlink; a
subsequent matching TCP SYN divides by zero and panics the kernel.
Reject the bogus fingerprint in nfnl_osf_add_callback() above the
per-option for-loop. f->wss is per-fingerprint, not per-option, so
the check must run regardless of f->opt_num (including 0). Also
reject wss.wc >= OSF_WSS_MAX; nf_osf_match_one() already treats that
as "should not happen".
