Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF)

A vulnerability in the web interface of Cisco Webex Meetings could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to conduct a cross-site request forgery (CSRF) attack on an affected system. This vulnerability is due to insufficient CSRF protections for the web interface on an affected system. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by persuading a user of the interface to click a malicious link. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to perform arbitrary actions. These actions could include joining meetings and scheduling training sessions.Show less

An attacker who wants to execute a certain command could send a phishing mail to the owner of the device and hope that the owner clicks on the link. icingaweb2-module-jira provides integration with Atlassian Jira. Starting in version 1.3.0 and prior to version 1.3.2, template and field configuration forms perform the deletion action before user input is validated, including the cross site request forgery token. This issue is fixed in version 1.3.2. There are no known workarounds.Show less

All versions of @fastify/oauth2 used a statically generated state parameter at startup time and were used across all requests for all users. The purpose of the Oauth2 state parameter is to prevent Cross-Site-Request-Forgery attacks. As such, it should be unique per user and should be connected to the user's session in some way that will allow the server to validate it. v7.2.0 changes the default behavior to store the state in a cookie with the http-only and same-site=lax attributes set. The state is now by default generated for every user. Note that this contains a breaking change in the checkStateFunction function, which now accepts the full Request object.Show less
