Impacted is the function Login of the file app/Models/Employee.php of the component Employee Login. This manipulation causes use of weak hash. Remote exploitation of the attack is possible. The attack is considered to have high complexity. The exploitability is considered difficult. The actual existence of this vulnerability is currently in question. The vendor explains: "[T]he code is still there to allow the upgrade path to work. The default password is initially seeded with the old hash function, but then migrated to a newer one after login. [T]he hash version check might be cleaned up in the future. Currently it's not actively in use as any password change will use a newer hash function."Show less |

From 13.4.6 to before 15.5.16 and 16.2.5, React Server Component responses can be vulnerable to cache poisoning in deployments that rely on shared caches with insufficient response partitioning. In affected conditions, collisions in the _rsc cache-busting value can allow an attacker to poison cache entries so users receive the wrong response variant for a given URL. This vulnerability is fixed in 15.5.16 and 16.2.5.Show less |

Attackers can extract payment form data and signatures from POST requests to the payment endpoint, then use SHA1 hash comparison to iteratively test key candidates until discovering the correct production key, enabling them to forge valid payment signatures and manipulate transaction amounts.Show less |

In versions 1.17.2 and earlier, SbieIniServer::HashPassword converts a SHA-1 digest to hexadecimal incorrectly. The high nibble of each byte is shifted right by 8 instead of 4, which always produces zero for an 8-bit value. As a result, the stored EditPassword hash only preserves the low nibble of each digest byte, reducing the effective entropy from 160 bits to 80 bits. This is layered on top of an unsalted SHA-1 scheme. The reduced entropy makes leaked or backed-up password hashes materially easier to brute-force.

Before commit 0c7d133c3c7e37c00b6d46b658a02244fdd3c784, jq used MurmurHash3 with a hardcoded, publicly visible seed (0x432A9843) for all JSON object hash table operations, which allowed an attacker to precompute key collisions offline. By supplying a crafted JSON object (~100 KB) where all keys hashed to the same bucket, hash table lookups degraded from O(1) to O(n), turning any jq expression into an O(n²) operation and causing significant CPU exhaustion. This affected common jq use cases such as CI/CD pipelines, web services, and data processing scripts, and was far more practical to exploit than existing heap overflow issues since it required only a small payload. This issue has been patched in commit 0c7d133c3c7e37c00b6d46b658a02244fdd3c784.Show less |

By crafting a request that causes many such collisions in V8's internal string table, an attacker can significantly degrade performance of the Node.js process.
The most common trigger is any endpoint that calls `JSON.parse()` on attacker-controlled input, as JSON parsing automatically internalizes short strings into the affected hash table.

Poseidon V1 (PoseidonSponge) accepts variable-length inputs without injective padding. When a caller provides fewer inputs than the sponge rate (inputs.len() < T - 1), unused rate positions are implicitly zero-filled. This allows trivial hash collisions: for any input vector [m1, ..., mk] hashed with a sponge of rate > k, hash([m1, ..., mk]) equals hash([m1, ..., mk, 0]) because both produce identical pre-permutation states. This affects any use of PoseidonSponge or poseidon_hash where the number of inputs is less than T - 1 (e.g., hashing 1 input with T=3). Poseidon2 (Poseidon2Sponge) is not affected.Show less |
