startServer.ts in the mcp-http-server package of UI-TARS-desktop defaulted its listen address to '::' when no host was given, so startSseAndStreamableHttpMcpServer bound the Streamable HTTP and SSE MCP transports to every interface, and its authentication middleware was optional: middlewares are applied only when a caller supplies them. The @agent-infra/mcp-server-commands and @agent-infra/mcp-server-filesystem entry points call startSseAndStreamableHttpMcpServer with a host and port alone and pass no middleware, so neither server required a credential. The commands server exposes a run_command tool that hands its caller-supplied command string to promisify(child_process.exec), so any unauthenticated client able to reach the port could run arbitrary commands as the user running the server, and the filesystem server exposed its file read and write tools on the same terms. The listen default became 127.0.0.1 in commit c2ad42e3eb9b27830db41a3e6f51ca7179d9b168; the package version stayed at 1.2.4 across that change, so the boundary is the commit rather than a release.Show less

The OpenFaaS gateway registers GET /system/telemetry in gateway/main.go and, when basic_auth is enabled, wraps each administrative /system/* handler in auth.DecorateWithBasicAuth. TelemetryHandler was left out of that wrap block from 0.27.11, which introduced the route, until 0.27.14, which added it. On an affected gateway the route therefore reaches the forwarding proxy with no credential check and returns whatever the configured provider serves for /system/telemetry, so any client that can reach the gateway port can read the provider's telemetry regardless of the basic_auth setting. The exposed content depends on the provider, and covers resource and invocation metrics for faasd and pod or cluster state for faas-netes.Show less

The Telnyx MCP server exposed its HTTP transport on every interface and did not require a caller credential. packages/mcp-server/src/http.ts served MCP on the root path with a listener bound to all interfaces and parsed the caller's authentication headers in a mode that did not fail when they were absent, so a request without any credential completed initialisation and dispatched tools. Dispatch forwarded the server's own stored credentials, the Telnyx API key and client secret together with the code-execution key, to the upstream endpoint, so an unauthenticated caller able to reach the port acted with them. The current code defaults the host to loopback, requires a server API key, and enforces it in middleware.Show less

The mcp-router CLI served its MCP aggregator on every interface and enforced authentication only when the operator asked for it. The serve command in apps/cli/src/commands/serve.ts defaulted its host to the all-interfaces address on a fixed port, and required a token only when the corresponding flag was supplied, so a default invocation exposed the aggregator, and every MCP server it fronted, to anyone able to reach the port. Release 0.6.3 defaults the host to the loopback address and refuses to start without a token whenever the host it is given is not a loopback address; no earlier release carries either check.Show less

ResourceInterceptor honours that annotation by returning before any session or API key is validated, and the nginx gateway shipped with the product proxies every /api request to the backend server, so both endpoints are reachable by any unauthenticated client that can reach the gateway. An attacker can POST to /api/v1/internal/getUserHistories to enumerate the accounts sitting in the 30-day cooling-off period that follows a deletion request, then POST to /api/v1/internal/users/{userId}/close for each one. The closure path clears the account's email address, phone number and nickname, cancels its space subscriptions, removes its space memberships and deletes its OAuth bindings, so the cooling-off window that exists to let a user reverse a deletion request is bypassed and the account cannot be recovered.Show less

An attacker can persist arbitrary notifications in apitable_player_notification against any user ID they name, and because fromUserId can be set to 0 the message is stored with the system sender and renders in the victim's inbox as a legitimate system notification. KubePi is a Kubernetes multi-cluster management panel. In versions up to and including 1.6.15, the SSO configuration API endpoints are exposed on the same public routing boundary as the SSO login and callback endpoints, so SSO, OIDC, and SAML management operations can be reached without administrator authorization. Because reading, creating, and updating the global SSO configuration is not restricted to administrators, an unauthorized or low-privileged user can inspect or alter the authentication configuration, which under certain conditions can lead to account takeover or privilege escalation. The SSO connectivity-test function can additionally be abused as a server-side request forgery primitive, and the user list API returns user objects without consistently clearing authentication-related fields. This issue is fixed in version 2.0.0.Show less

NebulaGraph exposes its runtime configuration over an unauthenticated HTTP service. Each daemon starts the web service defined in src/webservice/WebService.cpp, whose bind address defaults to all interfaces, and registers routes for reading and writing gflags alongside status and statistics. Neither the service nor its router carries any authentication, token check or address restriction. The read route returns the daemon's full set of runtime flag values, which includes the configured certificate, key and certificate-authority paths, the password file path, data directories and the transport-security enable flags. The write route parses a supplied map and applies each entry through the gflags runtime setter, so a caller able to reach the port can change the daemon's behaviour without restarting it, including disabling the transport-security flags, redirecting log files and altering flags such as failed_login_attempts and password_lock_time_in_secs. Public reports of this endpoint describe a single name, enable_authorize, being refused by the handler; at release 3.8.0 that refusal is not present and the handler applies every name it is given.Show less

Prior to 1.0.4, LiveViewConsumer.handle_mount sends a `{"type":"navigate","to":...}` frame when login_required, permission_required, or a redirecting on_mount hook denies a LiveView mount, but returns without closing the WebSocket or clearing self.view_instance. A browser follows the redirect, but a raw WebSocket client can ignore it and retain the mounted socket. Prior to 0.117.2, the POST /webhooks/nextcloud endpoint in nextcloud_mcp_server/vector/webhook_receiver.py has no authentication by default because WEBHOOK_SECRET defaults to None and startup validation does not require it. When WEBHOOK_SECRET is unset, handle_nextcloud_webhook() accepts unauthenticated requests. The payload["user"]["uid"] field parsed in nextcloud_mcp_server/vector/webhook_parser.py is attacker-controlled and is used without an authenticated-session cross-check for Qdrant operations, allowing a network attacker to delete or trigger re-indexing of vector embeddings for any user and to destroy the semantic search index by sending forged deletion events.
