nebula-mesh is a self-hosted control plane for Slack Nebula mesh VPN. Prior to version 0.3.8, the web handler renderMobileBundle passes the real *pki.CAResolver directly into mobilebundle.Build. Inside Build, resolver.LoadByID decrypts the CA's ed25519 private key into a *pki.CAManager, but Build never calls CAManager.Wipe() on any return path. As a result, when a mobile-bundle request goes through the web UI and Build returns — especially on error (missing network, invalid prefix, DB error, signing failure) — the plaintext CA private key remains on the Go heap, unwiped, until garbage collection. An attacker able to read process memory (core dump, swap, memory-scraping) can recover the CA signing key, which would allow minting arbitrary host certificates for the mesh. The API handler already does this correctly: it loads the CAManager, defer caMgr.Wipe(), and wraps it in caManagerResolver. Only the web path is affected. This issue has been patched in version 0.3.8.Show less

An access control bypass and information disclosure vulnerability exists in the base AppArmor security profile configuration of Canonical snapd. The abstraction rules located in /etc/apparmor.d/abstractions/nss-systemd (inherited via ) inadvertently permit strictly confined snap applications, which lack the privileged account-control interface, to interact directly with the io.systemd.Multiplexer and io.systemd.NameServiceSwitch UNIX domain sockets under /run/systemd/userdb/. On systems where the systemd-userdbd service is installed and operational, the service fails to distinguish between an unconfined root user on the host system and a restricted root user running within a snap application's sandbox (such as a daemon or configuration hook). Because systemd-userdbd returns "complete" user records—including sensitive hashed user passwords from /etc/shadow—when queried by a process running as root, a compromised or malicious strictly confined snap executing code as root can successfully query the Varlink interface to retrieve all system password hashes, bypassing intended snap sandbox restrictions. This issue is mitigated by the fact that systemd-userdbd is not installed by default on standard Ubuntu deployments.Show less

A vulnerability was found in kronosnet's (version <=1.34) cryptographic configuration management. The framework does not correctly zero-out or wipe sensitive memory segments after executing changes to its cryptographic configuration. This omission leaves raw encryption keys resident in memory after the associated structures are freed. A local attacker capable of leveraging memory disclosure techniques could exploit this flaw to retrieve the active encryption key, allowing them to decrypt cluster network communications or inject malicious packets to cause severe high-availability cluster instability.Show less

When an administrator disables a user account, the application fails to invalidate or clear the associated tokenAuth and tokenRemember fields in the JSON database. Consequently, any user with a pre-existing "Remember Me" cookie can bypass the account disablement and maintain a valid authenticated state. Version 3.22.0 patches the issue.Show less

Source code review shows sensitive file-write content remains in the stored payload as ContentPreview, OldString, or NewString at the default standard logging level and at full. This leads to logging of potentially sensitive file content in the local sqlite database, violating Gryphs sensitive file filter and log level contracts. FacturaScripts is an open source accounting and invoicing software. In versions prior to 2026, the Library module stores and serves uploaded images byte-for-byte, without stripping EXIF/XMP/IPTC metadata. Any authenticated user who downloaded an image could extract the uploader's embedded metadata, which included GPS coordinates, device information, timestamps, embedded comments/notes, thumbnail previews, and other personally identifiable information (PII) preserved in the image metadata. Of all FacturaScripts' image upload features, only the Library module combined unrestricted uploads, persistent storage, authenticated download access, and a total lack of server-side metadata sanitization. This vulnerability carries significant real-world impact: an employee uploading a photo taken at their home inadvertently discloses their precise home address to every user with Library download access. This issue has been fixed in version 2026.Show less
