In decode_choice(), the boundary check before get_len() uses the
variable `len`, which is still 0 from its initialization at the top of
the function:

When the bitstream is exactly consumed (bs->cur == bs->end), the check
nf_h323_error_boundary(bs, 0, 0) evaluates to (bs->cur + 0 > bs->end),
which is false. The subsequent get_len() call then dereferences
*bs->cur++, reading 1 byte past the end of the buffer. If that byte
has bit 7 set, get_len() reads a second byte as well.
This can be triggered remotely by sending a crafted Q.931 SETUP message
with a User-User Information Element containing exactly 2 bytes of
PER-encoded data ({0x08, 0x00}) to port 1720 through a firewall with
the nf_conntrack_h323 helper active. The decoder fully consumes the
PER buffer before reaching this code path, resulting in a 1-2 byte
heap-buffer-overflow read confirmed by AddressSanitizer.
Fix this by checking for 2 bytes (the maximum that get_len() may read)
instead of the uninitialized `len`. This matches the pattern used at
every other get_len() call site in the same file, where the caller
checks for 2 bytes of available data before calling get_len().Show less |

netconsole: avoid OOB reads, msg is not nul-terminated
msg passed to netconsole from the console subsystem is not guaranteed
to be nul-terminated. Before recent
commit 7eab73b18630 ("netconsole: convert to NBCON console infrastructure")
the message would be placed in printk_shared_pbufs, a static global
buffer, so KASAN had harder time catching OOB accesses. Now we see:

fs/smb/client: fix out-of-bounds read in cifs_sanitize_prepath
When cifs_sanitize_prepath is called with an empty string or a string
containing only delimiters (e.g., "/"), the current logic attempts to
check *(cursor2 - 1) before cursor2 has advanced. This results in an
out-of-bounds read.
This patch adds an early exit check after stripping prepended
delimiters. If no path content remains, the function returns NULL.
The bug was identified via manual audit and verified using a
standalone test case compiled with AddressSanitizer, which
triggered a SEGV on affected inputs.Show less |

net: ioam6: fix OOB and missing lock

This code can lead to an out-of-bounds access of the dev->_tx[] array
when is_input is true. In such a case, the packet is on the RX path and
skb->queue_mapping contains the RX queue index of the ingress device. If
the ingress device has more RX queues than the egress device (dev) has
TX queues, skb_get_queue_mapping(skb) will exceed dev->num_tx_queues.
Add a check to avoid this situation since skb_get_tx_queue() does not
clamp the index. This issue has also revealed that per queue visibility
cannot be accurate and will be replaced later as a new feature.
While at it, add missing lock around qdisc_qstats_qlen_backlog(). The
function __ioam6_fill_trace_data() is called from both softirq and
process contexts, hence the use of spin_lock_bh() here.Show less |

There will be only one bucket in dentry_hashtable when dhash_entries is
set as one, and d_hash_shift is calculated as 32 by dcache_init(). Then,
following process will access more than one buckets(which memory region
is not allocated) in dentry_hashtable:

bpf: Reset register ID for BPF_END value tracking
When a register undergoes a BPF_END (byte swap) operation, its scalar
value is mutated in-place. If this register previously shared a scalar ID
with another register (e.g., after an `r1 = r0` assignment), this tie must
be broken.
Currently, the verifier misses resetting `dst_reg->id` to 0 for BPF_END.
Consequently, if a conditional jump checks the swapped register, the
verifier incorrectly propagates the learned bounds to the linked register,
leading to false confidence in the linked register's value and potentially
allowing out-of-bounds memory accesses.
Fix this by explicitly resetting `dst_reg->id` to 0 in the BPF_END case
to break the scalar tie, similar to how BPF_NEG handles it via
`__mark_reg_known`.Show less |

The leaked memory contents may include environment variables, API keys, system prompts, and concurrent users' conversation data, and can be exfiltrated by uploading the resulting model artifact through the /api/push endpoint to an attacker-controlled registry. The /api/create and /api/push endpoints have no authentication in the upstream distribution.
