OpenEXR provides the specification and reference implementation of the EXR file format, an image storage format for the motion picture industry. Version 3.3.2 is vulnerable to a heap-based buffer overflow during a read operation due to bad pointer math when decompressing DWAA-packed scan-line EXR files with a maliciously forged chunk. This is fixed in version 3.3.3.Show less

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: gadget: configfs: Fix OOB read on empty string write When writing an empty string to either 'qw_sign' or 'landingPage' sysfs attributes, the store functions attempt to access page[l - 1] before validating that the length 'l' is greater than zero. This patch fixes the vulnerability by adding a check at the beginning of os_desc_qw_sign_store() and webusb_landingPage_store() to handle the zero-length input case gracefully by returning immediately.Show less

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: comedi: das6402: Fix bit shift out of bounds When checking for a supported IRQ number, the following test is used: /* IRQs 2,3,5,6,7, 10,11,15 are valid for "enhanced" mode */ if ((1 << it->options[1]) & 0x8cec) { However, `it->options[i]` is an unchecked `int` value from userspace, so the shift amount could be negative or out of bounds. Fix the test by requiring `it->options[1]` to be within bounds before proceeding with the original test. Valid `it->options[1]` values that select the IRQ will be in the range [1,15]. The value 0 explicitly disables the use of interrupts.Show less
