ALGO 8180 IP Audio Alerter SIP INVITE Replaces Stack-based Buffer Overflow Remote Code Execution Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of ALGO 8180 IP Audio Alerter devices. Authentication is not required to exploit this vulnerability. The specific flaw exists within the handling of the Replaces header of SIP INVITE requests. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of the length of user-supplied data prior to copying it to a fixed-length stack-based buffer. A Stack-based Buffer Overflow vulnerability in the Packet Forwarding Engine (pfe) of Juniper Networks Junos OS allows a network-based attacker, authenticated with low privileges to cause a Denial-of-Service (DoS). Subscribing to telemetry sensors at scale causes all FPC connections to drop, resulting in an FPC crash and restart. The issue was not seen when YANG packages for the specific sensors were installed.
