Description

A zip slip vulnerability in the Admin import functionality of CTFd v3.8.1-18-gdb5a18c4 allows attackers to write arbitrary files outside the intended directories via supplying a crafted import.

The product uses external input to construct a pathname that should be within a restricted directory, but it does not properly neutralize sequences such as ".." that can resolve to a location that is outside of that directory.
