Description

Piwigo before 2.9.3 has SQL injection in admin/tags.php in the administration panel, via the tags array parameter in an admin.php?page=tags request. The attacker must be an administrator.

The product constructs all or part of an SQL command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended SQL command when it is sent to a downstream component. Without sufficient removal or quoting of SQL syntax in user-controllable inputs, the generated SQL query can cause those inputs to be interpreted as SQL instead of ordinary user data.
