Prior to 7.15.2 and 8.10.2, the REST v4 JSON handler reads the pre-filter RAW_REQUEST value and relationship write helpers interpolate supplied field values into INSERT and UPDATE statements. The affected flow begins at $GLOBALS['RAW_REQUEST'] and uses set_relationship, SugarRelationship::addRow(), SugarRelationship::updateRow(), and contact_role to carry attacker-controlled data or authorization state into the security-sensitive operation. An authenticated user can inject SQL through relationship fields to read or alter database data and may reach file-write consequences when the database account has elevated privileges. This issue is fixed in versions 7.15.2 and 8.10.2.Show less |

Prior to 7.15.2 and 8.10.2, the generatePdf entry point loads an arbitrary record through BeanFactory::getBean() without checking the requesting user's record access. The affected flow begins at modules/AOS_PDF_Templates/generatePdf.php and uses generatePdf, and BeanFactory::getBean() to carry attacker-controlled data or authorization state into the security-sensitive operation. Any authenticated user can read fields from records denied by configured ACL roles, including contact, financial, deal, and custom-field data. Prior to 7.15.2 and 8.10.2, the REST API v4.1 get_entry_list method is vulnerable to time-based blind SQL injection when an authenticated caller simultaneously bypasses two independent security mechanisms. The advisory does not identify those controls more precisely, so their identities remain unspecified. Successful exploitation can extract sensitive database information. Prior to 7.15.2 and 8.10.2, legacy REST methods append an authenticated caller's query parameter as a SQL WHERE clause after insufficient structural validation. The affected flow begins at /service/v4_1/rest.php and uses get_entry_list, get_entries_count, and query to carry attacker-controlled data or authorization state into the security-sensitive operation. An account with list permission on a module can bypass the user_hash filter, retrieve password hashes and other database data, and use recovered administrative credentials to compromise the application. Prior to 7.15.2 and 8.10.2, the Upgrade Wizard commit flow trusts the hidden zip_to_dir parameter, while clean_path() does not reject traversal sequences. An authenticated administrator can copy extracted package files outside the intended destination, overwrite application or configuration files, place executable PHP under the web root, or cause denial of service. Prior to 7.15.2 and 8.10.2, the V8 module API lacks module-level authorization and permits a low-privileged user to create SchedulersJobs records with attacker-controlled target values. The affected flow begins at /Api/V8/module and uses SchedulersJobs, target, cron.php, and url:: to carry attacker-controlled data or authorization state into the security-sensitive operation. Cron.php later executes the queued job with system privileges, and the url:: target makes server-side requests to internal or external hosts, can follow redirects, can persist as a recurring job, and may expose internal services. Prior to 2.4.5, the two-pass fast interpreter loader in core/iwasm/interpreter/wasm_loader.c can make inconsistent constant-table decisions between the sizing pass and the emitting pass. After duplicate constants inflate the first pass beyond the constant-slot limit, wasm_loader_get_const_offset emits later constants inline, but the between-pass sort and deduplication reduces the table so the second pass can choose table references and cause reserve_block_ret to emit additional copy operands that were not included in code_compiled_peak_size. A crafted module can therefore make the second pass write partially attacker-controlled compiled-code data beyond the heap buffer allocated from the first pass's size calculation during wasm_runtime_load, before guest code executes. This can corrupt host heap metadata and deterministically crash the process, causing denial of service; further consequences depend on the host application's heap layout. Builds using WAMR_BUILD_FAST_INTERP=1 are affected; disabling the fast interpreter avoids the vulnerable loader. This issue is fixed in version 2.4.5.Show less |
