This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The esc_html() call applied at server emission is bypassed because the HTML fragment-serialization algorithm restores " to a raw double-quote inside text nodes when jQuery .html() extracts the template, allowing the attacker-controlled custom_id to break out of an HTML attribute context within the plugin's own frontend script.Show less |

Prior to 0.65.0, the client Session::process_packet path in russh/src/client/encrypted.rs accepts repeated packets encoded with russh's private msg::EXT_INFO = 7 before authentication, while the standards-compliant EXT_INFO message number 82 does not reach the affected handler. The handle_ext_info function appends every parsed extension name to received_extensions without clearing, deduplicating, or bounding the vector. A malicious SSH server that deliberately sends private message number 7 can therefore retain an unbounded number of attacker-controlled extension names for the session lifetime, causing progressive client memory exhaustion. This issue is fixed in version 0.65.0.Show less |

An attacker who can influence a trusted endpoint's redirect destination can receive that material. This issue is fixed in versions 1.30.0 and 2.2.0.Show less |

Prior to 1.1.10.9, Snappy.arrayCopy(Object src, int offset, int byteLength, Object dest, int destOffset) passes caller-supplied ranges to native memcpy without validating either array, allowing negative or oversized byteLength and offset values to read or write outside array bounds and crash the JVM. SnappyOutputStream.rawWrite and SnappyInputStream.rawRead, including their typed-array write and read methods, pass caller-controlled ranges through this primitive, and typed-array byte-size calculations can overflow int. Prior to 1.0.0 and from 1.5.5 until 1.6.10, the JavaScript-output APIs serialize a RegExp source containing a less-than character without the escaping needed for an HTML script element. An application is affected when it builds regular expression syntax from untrusted input, serializes that RegExp through serialize, serializeAsync, crossSerialize, crossSerializeAsync, crossSerializeStream, Serializer, or compileJSON, and embeds the result in an HTML script element. The crafted source can terminate the element and execute script in the page received by another user. This issue is fixed in version 1.6.10.Show less |

The failure shift is cached for each pair of trie state and text character in a field of the matcher object, and nothing clears it. A character not seen before at a given state adds an entry that lasts for the life of the matcher.
An attacker who can submit text with many distinct characters to a long-lived matcher can grow its memory with each search.Show less |

Versions 1.0.0 through 2.27.0 expose the correct Slack request HMAC when signature verification fails. For an invalid request, `slack-morphism` computes the correct signature for the attacker-controlled timestamp and request body and stores it in `SlackEventWrongSignatureError.generated_hash`. The error's `Debug` and `Display` representations expose that value, and the default Axum listener error handler logs it at error level. An attacker who can both reach the application's Slack callback endpoint and read its application/service logs can therefore use the verifier as a chosen-message HMAC oracle. The attacker can send an arbitrary request with an invalid signature, recover the correct signature from the resulting log entry, and resend the same request within the five-minute freshness window. The second request passes Slack Morphism's signature verification and reaches the protected application callback without the attacker knowing the Slack signing secret. Version 2.28.0 patches the issue.Show less |

This is due to GFFormsModel::create_post() passing the submitted value to WordPress' unrestricted global maybe_unserialize() rather than the plugin's own hardened GFCommon::maybe_unserialize(), which was added in 3.1.1 and passes allowed_classes => false precisely to prevent object instantiation. Where the field has a content template enabled, the submitted row reaches that call verbatim. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject a PHP object into post meta. No PHP Object Injection gadget chain is present in the plugin itself; however, if a gadget chain is present via an additional plugin or theme, it could allow the attacker to perform actions such as remote code execution. Where the custom field is mapped to the protected _wp_page_template meta key, WordPress itself supplies the chain: validate_file() accepts non-scalars, WP_Theme::__toString() then resolves an attacker-controlled path, and on hosts with a readable PEAR install and register_argc_argv enabled this yields remote code execution.Show less |

Although the product did not utilize this data, its acceptance could lead to logging.
If a user mistakenly sends sensitive data via URL parameters to any flow, this data could be inadvertently logged in access logs. This has the potential to expose confidential information, compromising the security and privacy of affected systems if the product is used incorrectly.Show less |

The user could then run risky Search Processing Language (SPL) commands that disclose or alter Splunk Enterprise data or disrupt Splunk Enterprise availability.
The vulnerability is possible because the Splunk Enterprise search scheduler does not apply SPL safeguards for risky commands to scheduled searches.
For more information see SPL safeguards for risky commands (https://help.splunk.com/en/splunk-enterprise/administer/manage-users-and-security/10.6/best-practices-for-splunk-platform-security/spl-safeguards-for-risky-commands) in the Splunk documentation.

The vulnerability is possible because the affected Splunk Secure Gateway App Key Value Store collections do not enforce user-level authorization for read requests.
